2NE1 is a South Korean girl group formed by YG Entertainment in 2009. The group consists of CL, Bom and Dara, who all participated in the show Superstar K2. In September 2010 they released their first EP To Anyone which contained the title track “I Don’t Care”.
Their second EP 2nd Mini Album followed in March 2011 and included two singles including “Lonely” which became their first number one single on Gaon Digital Chart. Their third EP Crush marked their biggest success so far when it topped iTunes charts all over Europe upon its release in June 2012.[1] Their fourth EP Crush Vol 2 was released October 2013 featuring songs such as Gotta Be You and Wait A Minute (GD & TOP) which featured labelmates Big Bang’s G-Dragon and Tae Yang respectively
TWICE
Twice is a girl group formed by JYP Entertainment in 2015. They have nine members: Sana, Momo, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, Tzuyu, Nayeon and Jungyeon. Their debut song was called “Like OOH AHH” (a remake of an old hit song by 2NE1). This song was released on October 20th 2015 and went straight to #1 on all Korean music charts!
Twice has had many hits since then including: “Cheer Up”, “TT”, “Knock Knock”, “Signal” (a remake of another 2NE1 song) and many more!
GFRIEND
GFRIEND is a South Korean girl group formed by Source Music in 2015. The group consists of six members: Yuju, Sowon, Yerin, Eunha, SinB and Umji. They are known for their fresh sound and bright image that draws inspiration from pastel colors which are very popular among young people today.
The members have also made appearances on various TV shows such as Law Of The Jungle (SBS), Immortal Songs 2 (MBC), Happy Together 3 (KBS2) and Weekly Idol (MBC Every1). They released their first mini album “Season Of Glass” in January 2016 which topped the Gaon Album Chart for three consecutive weeks with over 140k copies sold within its first week of release making it one of the best selling albums at that time!
BLACKPINK
BLACKPINK is a South Korean girl group formed by YG Entertainment in 2016. The group consists of four members: Jennie, Jisoo, Rosé and Lisa. They debuted on August 8, 2016 with their single “BOOMBAYAH”.
